How can I find smoking spots near me?
When you allow location access on the home page, smoking spots within a 2 km radius of your current location are shown on the map. You can narrow the results by tobacco type, facilities and other filters. If location access is not available, you can also browse by area to find smoking spots around your destination.
Can I browse smoking spots by prefecture?
Yes. The area-search page lists smoking spots for all 47 prefectures. You can review the list without relying on the map, which is handy for planning business trips or sightseeing. For example, Tokyo has its own dedicated list page.
Can I find smoking spots dedicated to e-cigarettes or heated tobacco?
Yes. Use the tobacco-type filter on the search screen to choose from cigarettes, e-cigarettes / heated tobacco, shisha / vape, and others. Heated-tobacco-only rooms are increasingly common in Japan, and we list them separately from cigarette-only locations.

Since the revised Health Promotion Act took full effect in April 2020, indoor smoking has been generally banned in restaurants, workplaces, and public facilities.
